Grace Griffith Hoag
Grace Griffith Hoag was a long director of the Medway Historical Society and generous benefactor. She was the co-author or editor of several books including Kate Hill Kelley: letters from Vermont families, 1850-1889; Images of America – Medway; and Tricentennial Handbook of Medway History: A Chronicle of Medway Life 1914-2013.
Priscilla Howker
Priscilla Howker was the long-time Curator for the Medway Historical Society and co-author of Images of America – Medway and Tricentennial Handbook of Medway History: A Chronicle of Medway Life 1914-2013.
Audrey Ritter
Audrey brought years of experience to the Medway Historical Society. Having degrees in History and Library Science, Audrey spent years volunteering in schools and at the Shelburne Museum. She was a passionate genealogist and a great resource to those searching their own family history and most especially for the Medway Historical Society. Audrey Ritter was a Director of the Medway Historical Society and became Curator for the society’s collection when Priscilla Howker retired from that role. She was also co-author of Tricentennial Handbook of Medway History: A Chronicle of Medway Life 1914-2013.
Iyawata Schneider
For years, Iyawata also known as Barbara, performed frequently as famous historical women for the Medway Historical Society. She was wife of past Medway Historical Society President Norman Schneider. With roots in the Narragansett tribe, she was active in Native American communities in Massachusetts and Maine where she was raised. Iyawata was also director of the Family Holistic Center in Medway for ten years.
